WOMB, the legendary dance music venue in Tokyo continues to develop and after 12 years leading Japan’s party scene, we are proud to present WOMB ADVENTURE '12!!! On December 15th 2012 we will turn the hallowed halls of Makuhari Messe into a "one-night-superclub" to rival no other. We’ve assembled a stellar line up of regular WOMB Superstars and concepts thats going to blow your mind and bring happiness to your ears.
In our fifth chapter of Womb Adventure we are super proud to tell you that Richie Hawtin will return after a years hiatus to bring us ENTER, his Ibiza concept club night, to Japan for the first time. ENTER is a Japan inspired techno showcase in Ibiza where the sake flows freely from an inspired sake bar and Richie himself. Now he’s taking the magic of Ibiza back to Tokyo!!! Joining him are none other than techno and sake lovers Dubfire and the don of Desolat Recordings Loco Dice.

If your techno ears were to not already be well and truly excited, the WWW stage (Womb World Wide) will bring us legends of live and electronica party favourite Darren Emerson from once Underworld and now Detone, Daddy G from the legendary Massive Attack, as well as hot new starlet Nina Kraviz who will bring a sassy touch to this stage as well as amazing production from Womb itself. Supported by a stellar cast of Japanese electronic greats; Shinichi Osawa, Satoshi Otsuki, and a host of others. Expect the most insane audio and visual production, a lot of sake, and a world of cool people.

RICHIE HAWTIN
(MINUS / PLUS 8)

Artist, DJ, conceptualist and ambassador, more than anyone else in modern electronic music, Richie Hawtin has relentlessly proved himself to be a true innovator. The one-man mogul behind acclaimed Techno imprints Plus 8 & Minus sends signals out all over the world from his HQ in an old fire station in Windsor, Ontario – just across the border from Detroit Techno City. As Techno and art move closer together, Hawtin sees it as a logical part of his constant reinvention. “It’s about setting a standard for yourself and progressing yourself. Showing people you can do something interesting that’s more than just dance music.”

LOCO DICE
(DESOLAT, GERMANY)

Every so often a DJ or producer comes along who inspires the collective imagination. If you’ve seen Loco Dice perform at his ten-year-long Tribehouse residency in his hometown Düsseldorf, or at DC- 10 in Ibiza (from ’02-’06), you will have clicked to this. Loco Dice is someone, who can puzzle together intangible moods with a direct approach. His DJ sets, whether at Germany’s biggest rave Timewarp, Cocoon in Ibiza or a beach party in South America, are spontaneous orchestrations fueled by the nuances of a night/venue/crowd. Loco Dice emerges perspectives in his delicate sense for sounds and reflective atmospheres, underpinned with solid, physical grooves inspired by the hip hop that was his early sonic stomping ground in the mid- to late ‘90s. There’s something there for the dreamers, as well as for the 9-to-5ers who just want to lose everything in a moment of abandon on the dancefloor which Loco Dice will show you at WA'12.

DARREN EMERSON

Darren Emerson is one of the most influential figures in dance music, with a 17 year career that has seen him work with everyone from Depeche Mode to Jamie Cullum. His success is evident in the numerous million-selling hit albums and singles he has been a part of and his stunning DJ skills. When he turned 18, Karl Hyde invited him to become the third member of techno band Underworld. 1993's dubnobasswithmyheadman was their commercial breakthrough onto the then burgeoning British electronica scene. While working on their second album, 1996's Second Toughest in the Infants, they released the single "Born Slippy", which was an instant hit following its inclusion on the soundtrack to the movie, Trainspotting. During his time with Underworld, the band released three albums and sold over a million albums world wide.Emerson also emerged as a much sought-after remix talent, with remixes for such diverse acts as The Chemical Brothers, and Björk.

DUBFIRE
(SCI + TEC Digital Audio)

Grammy-winning recording artist Dubfire is renowned for his seamless DJ sets, groundbreaking music, and his innovative label, SCI+TEC. Widely recognized as one of the world's most musically versatile artists, Dubfire initially brought a pioneering sound to electronic music during his days as one-half of the distinguished DJ & production duo Deep Dish. After more than twenty years behind the decks and in the studio, Dubfire continues to make his mark on the future of electronic music. Strongly rooted in where he came from, but always evolving, Dubfire will continue to pioneer music that sets the standard and has earned him the title “the DJ’s DJ.

Daddy G (Massive Attack) DJ Set

You may consider Grant Marshall, a.k.a. Daddy G as spiritus rector of what has historically become known as the “Bristol Sound”. It´s that laid back sound that breathes dub, reggae, funk, disco and hip hop, represented by protagonists like Massive Attack, Smith & Mighty, Tricky and Portishead. A sound that left its global traces for more than one and a half decades. And Daddy G is its spiritus rector because he was one of the founders of the Wild Bunch Sound System, out of which later Massive Attack emerged. Besides Mushroom and 3-D, Daddy G was both one of the core members of the group as well as one of the group´s main voices. There are DJs, that get their kicks from playing out obscure white labels that no one knows. And then there´s DJs who simply enjoy playing their favourite records. Daddy G belongs to the latter.

Nina Kraviz

Nina Kraviz is currently the name on everyone's lips in the house and techno community. Very rarely does a DJ/Producer shoot to stardom so quickly - and when they do, they seldom have the talent to back it up. Nina is the exception to the rule. Most recently saw her release a second single on Naif, as well as a collaboration with Sascha Funke on BPitch Control and the well received remix of Okain's 'Scream' on Tsuba. Rekids was also proud to present her second release with us in the form of 'I'm Week' – a truly unique take on House music, that translates just as well on radio without compromising its integrity. This year, you can see the release of Ninaʼs eponymously titled album ʻNina Kravizʼ on Rekids, along with a world tour and the launch of a new live show. Do not miss her.
